Terms and Conditions
This policy is issued by Jenny Prescott Counselling (“we”, “our”, “us”).
Jenny Prescott Counselling is based in the United Kingdom and operates in accordance with UK consumer law.

This policy applies to purchases made by individual consumers for personal use. It does not apply to business-to-business transactions.
Counselling Services
Counselling services are offered on a one-to-one basis, either in person or online, as agreed in advance.
Counselling sessions are intended to provide emotional and psychological support. They are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or emergency services. If you are in crisis or require urgent support, please contact your GP, emergency services, or an appropriate crisis service.
Counselling is a collaborative process, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Fees and Payment
Session fees are confirmed at the time of booking. Payment is required in advance of each session unless otherwise agreed.
Fees are reviewed periodically, and any changes will be communicated in advance.
Cancellation Policy (Counselling Sessions)
If you need to cancel or rearrange a counselling session, at least 48 hours’ notice is required.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, are chargeable at the full session fee unless otherwise agreed.
This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation.
Digital Products
From time to time, we may offer digital products such as PDFs, guided exercises, or other downloadable resources (“Digital Products”).
When available, the following will apply:
You have a 14-day right to cancel from the date of purchase unless you choose to download or access the product immediately.
Before accessing digital content, you will be asked to confirm that you:
consent to the immediate supply of the digital content, and
understand that this means you lose your right to cancel once access begins.
If you have not yet downloaded or accessed the Digital Product, you may cancel within 14 days for a full refund.
Digital Products are for personal use only. They may not be copied, shared, reproduced, transmitted, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
All copyright remains with Jenny Prescott Counselling.
Faulty or Inaccessible Digital Content
If a Digital Product is faulty, corrupted, or inaccessible, please contact us within a reasonable time.
We will repair or replace the content promptly. If this is not possible, you may be offered a refund or price reduction.
This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Refunds
Refunds are handled in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
To request a refund where applicable, please email jennyprescottcounselling@gmail.com
with your name and a brief explanation. Eligible refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days to the original payment method.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
All counselling work is confidential and handled in accordance with professional ethical guidelines and data protection legislation.
Exceptions to confidentiality (for example, where there is risk of serious harm to yourself or others) will be explained as part of the counselling agreement.
